Craig Healey - Founder & Managing Partner

Craig’s impressive background in the hotel and hospitality sectors within the UK stands out. His wealth of experience in customer service and commercial operations related to hotels and the wider visitor economy is commendable.

Some of his achievements include being a founding member of the Northern Lincolnshire Hoteliers Association, where he also served as the Chairperson, area council member for the Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce representing hospitality as well as similar roles and functions in other areas of the UK which further underscores his commitment to not only hotels but the wider visitor economy in general.

In 2020, Craig founded The Hotel Consultants with the aim of assisting independent hotels during their reopening phase after the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic. With further experience gained of working with local government and growth hubs as a visitor economy specialist, his dedication, passion and knowledge along with his proactive approach make him an ideal partner for independent hoteliers and directors.

Gearóid Pyne - Senior Partner

A seasoned hospitality professional, Gearóid is an expert at turning around distressed businesses or consolidating and expanding already successful ones.

With almost 25 years experience in the hotel industry, Gearóid has build up a level of expertise working in many different versatile hotel operations at senior management level. Be that from large complex resorts to stately manors or from large conference and event led operations to select-service properties, he has a proven track record of success in all these areas.

Prior to joining The Hotel Consultants, Gearóid had held GM and Area GM roles with companies such as Hilton Hotels, Accor Hotels, Best Western Hotels and The Louis Fitzgerald Group, Ireland’s largest independent hospitality group. Gearoid has also operated his own hotel consultancy business where he offered management solutions to companies such as Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, Hallmark Hotels, Aimbridge Hospitality and the Everyman Entertainments Group.

A native of the west of Ireland, Gearóid loves to travel in his free time and is also an avid lover of rugby and his native game of hurling as well as a big admirer of craft beers and new emerging food concepts and trends.

Anthony Hand’s remarkable career in the hospitality industry spans over 20 years, during which he has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and contributed to growth both domestically and internationally.

As a seasoned professional, he has successfully orchestrated operational strategies, enhanced guest experiences, and optimised profitability across diverse hotel and resort portfolios.

His extensive hands-on experience, ranging from General Manager to Regional Manager roles, has given him an in-depth understanding of the industry’s intricacies and challenges. Anthony’s ability to develop innovative solutions and implement best practices has driven operational efficiency and elevated guest satisfaction.

With a keen eye for emerging trends and an unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled hospitality experiences, Anthony is well-positioned to propel your business to new heights of success and help achieve strategic objectives.
